I am thoroughly engaged in the endeavor of reading Ms. Balogh’s entire collection of heartwarming stories. After a lifetime of eschewing reading any kind of romance, I was introduced to Julia Quinn’s stories first. They were entertaining enough. Then I delved into Lisa Kleypas’ works; which I enjoyed more. But Mary Balogh is absolutely masterclass! Reading these books and meeting these characters I feel transported into their world. I laugh and cry out loud.
These days any escape from the nightmare of MAGA here in the USA is much appreciated! Thank you! Respectfully, ROL
