Mary, I am not exaggerating when I say that you are by far my favorite author. You have been for years. You have such a unique way of writing deeply emotional stories with a strong uplifting message. A few years ago, I was going through a difficult time and happened to be reading the Westcott series. There were many times I had to stop reading just to let your words sink in, as somehow they were exactly what I needed to hear. And I love the way you incorporate disability into your storyline with characters who live meaningful lives and overcome adversity. My own son is nonmobile and nonverbal. He has a host of medical problems, but his smile lights up the room. Anyway, I just wanted to thank you for all the hours of joy you’ve brought to my life. I can’t express just how much it means to me.
