I never read a romance until, about 6 years ago, someone gave me a copy of one of your Westcott novels. Since then I have read most of your work, which I have enjoyed tremendously. I now look for collections of regency short stories to find your name, and I especially treasure your Christmas short stories that tug on my heart and bring tears to my eyes. I just reread The Gift and was drying my eyes just a moment ago. I now read only romance (and a few mysteries), mainly Regency tales. No one can compare to you. I am just turning 80 and have been reading since I was three, so I have a lot of experience reading, and I’m an editor, so I am a pro! Cannot say how much I appreciate your fine work.
