I just finished my sixth re-reading of the Wescott Family series, and my third re-reading of the Ravenswood family series. Of COURSE I am rooting for Stephanie and Bertrand because, LOVE! I am hoping that the last couple of “Remember” books where Bertrand peeks through are forshadowing!

I didn’t realize I was a “fan” until well after the fact. But now that I am here, I am definitely a fan of Mrs. Balogh’s style and craft. A good book is when you simply enjoy the story. A great book has you begging for more because you were absolutely lost in the story, could taste the atmosphere around you, and felt as if you would recognize the characters if you happened upon them on a village avenue. And every single one of Mrs. Balogh’s books are great. Thank you so much for the gift of great books for over 40 years.
