Dear Ms. Balogh,
Your books were some of the earliest ones I read in the romance genre, several years ago now. For me, they are a gold standard against which I judge many of the books I read, both within and without the genre. The characters you create are delightfully complex and persist in my mind beyond the page. You are generous with your villains, not relying on caricatures of monsters, but presenting real humans with the depth and range of quality we possess. My favorite book of yours is, by far, Simply Dangerous, and I return to it again and again. It is interesting to me to read your news books and get a sense of how your writing has changed over the years.
