Hello Mary! I am a huge fan of your work. I have re-read Slightly Dangerous over a dozen times with many of the other Bedwyn titles also in the running. I’m now making my way through the Survivors’ Club Series for a 5th time. The Westcotts have also been dear to my heart. I’ve also read every one of your Christmas novellas.

I don’t know if you read contemporary romcoms, but if you do, might I beg a kindness of you? I’ve written two Christmas-themed stories – one a 96,000 word novel, Christmas Catastrophe(s), and the other a 22,000 word novella, When Holly Met Ivy. I would be so grateful if you would take a look at either one or both of these works. If you then felt you could endorse either, you’d contribute greatly to my contentment. My website is heatherjopling.me

Christmas Catastrophe(s) blurb:
When freelance writer Charlie Jensen injures herself in a holiday DIY accident, she finds herself laid up with only ten days to prep for her annual Holiday Tea. Her cat Steve is useless at babysitting, but fortunately, her best friend, Dr. Dev Bhandari is on call to help.

While in close proximity, it doesn’t take much time before long-suppressed attractions begin to stir between these old friends.

Terrified that their desire for “more” might destroy their much-cherished friendship, Dev and Charlie must each find a way to be true to their own hearts, without creating a catastrophe.

When Holly Met Ivy blurb:
Holly Macdonald, dedicated manager of the Merry Mistletoe Mercantile, has always dreamt of running her own Christmas wonderland. When Mary, the beloved shop’s owner, passes away, Holly inherits the shop. However, Holly’s festive plans take an unexpected turn when she learns that she must partner with Ivy Spencer, Mary’s drop-dead gorgeous but grumpy relative, who is indifferent to holiday cheer. Not only must they run the shop together, but they must also share the apartment above the shop – for three months.

Holly and Ivy clash over everything—from the shop’s dazzling decorations to how much to give to charity. Ivy, who prefers a no-nonsense approach, is reluctantly charmed by Holly’s over-the-top holiday spirit. Holly is pleased to discover that Ivy’s personality quirks have an unexpected appeal. Together, they navigate a series of comedic misadventures, including a near-death gingerbread experience, a runaway sleigh, and a Santa flash mob.

As they juggle the holiday chaos together, can Holly and Ivy discover Christmas magic?
