Frances Sturdavant
I have been reading your books for many years. I “discovered” your books as a library volunteer in Hawai’i. I was able to begin my collection of your books (much to my husband’s chagrin) by buying boxes of books at library sales and by getting “first crack” at donated paperbacks as I was the volunteer doing most of the sorting.
When my family returned to the East Coast from Hawai’i most of my book collection accompanied us ,,, first to Rhode Island and now home to the mountains of Virginia.
Your stories and book series have seen me through 2 hip replacements (& 1 hip resection), knee replacements, rotator cuff surgery, and other medical situations., as well as deaths of loved ones and children “leaving the nest”. I would have survived these situations, but having your books to read made these situations easier.
I appreciate the honesty in your writing, but most of all the inherent hope that winds its way through your stories. One doesn’t want to run away from reality, but too much negativity is not good either. Thank you for sharing your talent! May you and your loved ones always go with God!
