Dear Mary Balogh – I cant begin to tell you how much I have loved reading your books over the last twenty years or so since I found my first one in Barnes bookshop on 5th Avenue New York! I was on a visit to a famuly friend.
As soon as I returned home I found what a treasure trove awaited me – and has continued to produce jewels!
Ive just found this page – slow to the party – I am not going to read the comments now because I feel very emotional and I dont want to cry at the moment – I want to go out and do some gardening which is what I had planned on this sunny Sunday morning!
I was feeling emotional as I had just finished reading Someone Perfect for probably the third time (I reread all your books} then I came downstairs to my computer wondering if you had written one about Estelle’s brother
which I had (incredibly) missed.
That is how I found your blog and this guest book. Im sure I have rambled on enough to convince you of my HUGE
appreciation of your writing skills – fascinating to read your thoughts on writing and your experience of hand
writing – labour of love indeed!
With very very best wishes (and love!). Caroline
