Hello Mary. I have read most of your books and have enjoyed most of them immensely, but my favorites are The Survivors Club series. I was re-reading Only A Promise this week and came across a line that struck me as highly pertinent to the times we are living through right now. Ralph and Chloe were having a discussion about their marriage and how they were attempting to make their strangely begun marriage to work. “But perhaps everyone, all down through the ages, lives through dreadful times. Perhaps it is the human condition.“
