Please don’t feel you need to publish this comment – I just wanted to give feedback on two of your books, one I enjoyed enormously, the other not so much! The one, and in fact the series, I’m loving is the ‘Web’ books, with all their complexities and challenges for the central characters to work out their problems – I’m now on ‘Devil’s Web’ and reading eagerly to find out what on earth James could have done that could ruin his life as it did. The book I’ve been hesitant to give feedback on is ‘Remember That Day’. It just felt as though there were pages and pages of reminiscing about other characters’ back-stories (which I already knew, so couldn’t be that interested in reading all over again as padding the pages), which meant that there wasn’t much space at all for Winifred and Nicholas’ story. That seemed to result in them not really having a story at all – just an inevitable resolution that took a long time to arrive. I do enjoy your books, and your very three-dimensional, engaging characters; but this book was a disappointment. Sorry.
